If this blog is any indication, I go to the Great Wall a lot. I promise this isn’t normal. We just had more visitors. When you have visitors who have never been to China, the appropriate thing to do is take them to the Great Wall. We don’t have any more visitors scheduled, so it will be awhile before I go to the wall again. This time we went to Mutianyu, a different section of the wall than I went to last week. I’ve now visited the two most popular sections and know their various advantages and disadvantages, so when I have visitors in the future I’ll be a better tour guide.
In the 10 days between these two trips, the calendar changed from October to November. The foliage on this trip was much more November-like, as well.
