I finally took my camera out today, after having been in Beijing for a week. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I could write a thousand words about how quickly China is developing and changing. Since I had my camera today, I can share a picture instead. This evening, I walked out of a Starbucks in a shiny new building in a trendy neighborhood and saw this.
Old China meets new China. I wonder how much of the day they spent travelling, because I have no idea where the nearest area where there is enough room for a horse is.
